Introduction
This is an introduction to our Crew Sign Up form and includes an overview of what you need to provide.
Crew registration
This form is broken into four sections:
- PERSONAL DETAILS
- SOCIAL LISTINGS
- INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
- DETAILED SUMMARY
Before you start you should have the following at the ready:
- Full and concise record of appropriate screen media experience
- Links to all of your social listing URLs
- Profile Headshot – jpeg or png, 900 x 600 pixels in landscape, max file size 256MB
- Showcase photos (no more than 3) – jpeg or png, 1200 x 900 pixels in landscape, max file size 256MB
We also recommend having an up to date IMDB link for members with relevant experience.
If you’ve got all of this sorted and ready to go, then it should only take about 10 minutes to complete your application.

Crew Sign-up
For experienced screen media professionals. This form should only be filled in by screen media professionals with on-set experience in one or more of the above criteria. Once completed, you will be profiled on our website.
Trainee Advancement
If you have NO experience in the screen media industry but have a desire to work in the industry, OR you have a transferrable skill from another industry, contact us.
Industry Advancement
For experienced screen media crew members who wish to advance into a new role within the industry BUT have no experience in that role yet, we’re keen to chat. We’ll retain your details in an offline database and provide them to productions that have the capability to support trainees and internships for industry advancement.
Content examples
We’ve included some handy examples of the type of content you should consider adding to each section of the form to ensure your profile is polished and comprehensive.
Introduction
Your introduction appears under your name on the directory page, which is limited to 150 characters.
Example:
Experienced AD for international and domestic productions. Award-winning camera operator. Prop making experience of 3+ years. (125 characters)
Industry Experience
Describe/list your experience in relation to the Screen Media Experience Types you ticked within the INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE section.

About You

My career spans several decades in several different roles. More recently, I have stepped into Camera Operator and this is where I feel my creativity is put to good use. My debut as Camera Operator for the Six60 music video “Before You Leave”, just won the Aotearoa Music Award for Best Music Video. I still love the rush of working as an Assistant Director and would love to use my international knowledge for NZ projects.
