While I’m happy to work on Big Budget films and TV series my real passion is to see local Indie productions made in and around the BOP and Waikato regions. I have the skills, the experience and the passion as well as the kit from Cameras an lighting and location trucks. And as some have noted, you can a movie out of the back of my van.
Additionally I have an extensive knowledge of locations throughout the Bay of Plenty and Waikato and have a list of locations on tap from period houses to high end modern architecturally designed expansive homes with spectacular views and gardens.
But at the end of the day I’m a lighting guy, Gaffer/Grip, Cam Op/1AC.

Industry Experience
My time in the industry extends back to Hercules, Xena, City life, Street Legal although it could be argued that many more years in Community and Professional Theatre, set me up for my present passion behind the camera. A life of business in transport and Mechanical Engineering naturally set me up with all the skills of a grip / rigger and those necessary for set construction. A long passion for theatre tech set me up with all the skills to be a Gaffer and a deep knowledge of the art of Photography became an easy shift into Camera Work. I’ve worked on Multiple short films and indie features and TV pilots as well as wrote and produced a SciFi feature,
