About

Scott is an experienced costume, armour, and props technician working across film, television, and exhibition projects. He has contributed to major productions with Wētā Workshop at Kumeu Film Studios and for GSR Productions. Bringing a high level of craftsmanship and practical expertise to every build.

Now based in Wellington, Scott works as a professional photographer and visual creative, specialising in portrait, event and commercial photography. His work is known for being polished, engaging and tailored to each client, with a strong emphasis on storytelling and visual precision.

Scott has worked with a wide range of businesses across Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty, and was recently commissioned to photograph graduate portraits for the RACP Graduation at Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre. Alongside his commercial practice, he runs workshops with the Wellington Photography Group and offers one-on-one tuition across a variety of styles and techniques.

He holds a Bachelor of Visual Art from Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology (2016), combining a strong creative foundation with years of industry experience. His background at Wētā Workshop — including work on productions such as Mulan (2020), Avatar: The Way of Water (2022), and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022) — continues to inform his approach, bringing a cinematic edge to his photography through lighting, detail and composition.

Scott has also supported students within the Bachelor of Creative Industries at Toi Ohomai, and is passionate about sharing knowledge, developing emerging talent, and collaborating on new projects.

Currently based in Lower Hutt, Wellington, Scott is available for work throughout New Zealand, including the Bay of Plenty.
