Pitching skills is one of the essential skills needed for a successful career in the film industry. It is also one of the least considered by new entrants to the industry. When it comes to getting your film or television script read, or getting hired to write one, film and television, pitching is everything.

Award-winning Producer Paula Jones will be running this intensive workshop which will cover:

  •  The importance of pitching
  •   Understanding your audience
  •   What makes a good pitch
  •   There all be a couple of exercises for fun

If you have ideas please bring them along but you don’t need them to attend

You don’t need to be a movie fan to attend this workshop – anyone interested in communicating a thought clearly and concisely will benefit as will writers, directors, producers, actors, filmmakers, cinema lovers, anyone with an interest in how movies are made and who seek a basic introduction to the filmmaking process.

When: 20 August 2019
