"Wellington-based Director/writer Casey Zilbert co-wrote Born to Dance with Hone Kouka and Steve Barr (2015, directed by Tammy Davis); it screened at Toronto and the Berlinale. She’s also written and directed short films; directed her own feature film "Hang Time" and has a million other projects-in-progress, many of them cross-border. Her IMDB page is here. WIFTNZ gave her its Woman to Watch Award in 2018"

We will be hosting Casey for a screening of her feature film "Hang Time and then a workshop on "creating content and finding ways to finance it in the new media world"

"Hang Time, is about three school friends who get to engage in some unscheduled socialising after a cancelled wedding. The trio find themselves on a Marlborough vineyard with all the wine from the big day (as well as the bride's crazy uncle) - and soon decide it would be a shame to let all that vino go to waste".
