Waterfalls and Native Forest

Located behind Welcome Bay, Tauranga these amazing waterfalls can be accessed by well formed trails through New Zealand native forest.

From the top of the track there are views of Mauao, and then the trail follows a series of waterfalls downhill where the finale is a stunning waterfall dropping into a large pool surrounded in tropical looking forest.

The track does descend steeply in places and is about a 30 minute round trip. The carpark at the top has a long drop and about 20 carpark spaces.
