ScreenSafe Health and Safety COVID 19 Standards and Protocols – UPDATE

PRESS RELEASE  / 28 April 2020

WorkSafe is liaising with ScreenSafe to develop the base Standards and the full Protocols guide for the Screen Sector. These will be endorsed by WorkSafe and will represent minimum expectations. It is important in order to eliminate Covid19 that all productions or workplaces in the wider screen sector align with these.

Each production is required to have a Covid19 site specific plan. If you intend to go ahead with production under Alert Level 3, it is advised you submit your Covid19 specific protocols, health and safety plans and site specific plan to WorkSafe for auditing (contact at WorkSafe is: Melanie Dale - Melanie.Dale@worksafe.govt.nz).

Stay safe, take care
