Pilot Films is a full production company working in commercial and advertising productions.

We specialise in high-end productions for action sports, aviation, adventure, adrenaline sports and tourism.

– Surfing, foil-boarding, Wakeboarding, backcountry ski and snowboarding, Jet-boats, Motor-X, Mountain biking, Aviation, Kayaking and adventure racing, hunting and bush, mountaineering, watersports, motor-racing, fishing and diving.

– We have a specialised film crew trained in the safe filming of high-speed activities, and working in mountains (ex ski-guides) working from helicopters, aircraft, and in water.

– Experienced in working in TV Productions as Shooter Producers for reality TV in challenging terrain on NZ Mountains and in remote bush or inaccessible coastline.

– Qualified for working at heights in commercial projects and heavy industry projects (i.e. mining, large construction projects, horticulture)

– DoP. Black Magic 6k Cine, Pyxis, Sony FS6, FX3, FX30. Full range of high-quality anamorphic and spherical lenses

– FPV Drone, Mavic 3, 6 GoPro’s (latest models), 360 Cameras. Range of grip, rigging, gimbals, etc, Full studio lighting and outdoor lighting (panels, tubes, fresnel). Full field-sound options including high-end microphones (boom, lavalier) Soundies. We also have a recording studio space for Foley, Voice-overs, etc.

All equipment is available for hire.

Our Post-Production team includes animators and 3 top editors and colourists. We also have photographers including for underwater.
