Road Safe Traffic Management is a team of professional traffic management and event specialists serving the Bay of Plenty Region for the past eight years. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards across all levels of Temporary Traffic Management (TTM). With a wealth of experience and a stellar team of Site Traffic Management Supervisors (STMSs) and Traffic Controllers (TCs), we ensure the safety of both our team and the traveling public by mitigating risks through compliance and best practices every day. Our unwavering commitment to health and safety is at the core of our mission, enabling us to excel in providing complex and efficient road management solutions.

In recognition of our excellence, Road Safe TM was honored with the 2018 Westpac Emerging Business of the Year Award and was a finalist in the Workplace Safety Award. With over 80 staff members and four regional branches, we offer comprehensive services to our customers. As our company continues to grow, we remain dedicated to assisting our clients in all aspects of traffic management, moving forward together.

Our management team, equipped with specialized industry knowledge, excels at resolving issues and implementing solutions to meet TTM requirements. Each team member has been carefully selected by our owner and director, Logan Dawson, with a strong emphasis on attitude and capability. Our diverse and collaborative team brings a wide range of experience. Our TMP Planners have gained practical experience in the field, our Fleet Manager has honed his skills managing fleets for large farming contractors, and our Operations Supervisors have advanced from TC roles across various sites and situations. This dedicated team is led by our steadfast General Manager, Natasha Rice, who has been pivotal in the company’s success, overseeing finances, administration, HR, and communication.

Logan Dawson, an industry expert with over ten years of experience in Traffic Management across New Zealand, has been instrumental in the company’s growth. He has collaborated closely with all stakeholders on major infrastructure projects, maintenance contracts, NOC contracts, and a wide range of events, from small local gatherings to some of the country’s largest, with a focus on transportation and crowd management. Notably, Logan oversaw and delivered over 65% of the Traffic Management requirements for Christchurch’s infrastructure rebuild, working closely with key stakeholders such as Fletchers, Christchurch City Council, and SCIRT. Logan values the growth and learning from this role and is committed to an innovative approach to service delivery and the continuous wellness and safety of employees. He attributes the company’s success to the dedicated team, stating, “We have great people doing great things. When we go to work each day, we’re not just focused on ourselves but also on those around us.” Logan takes pride in Road Safe TM’s high level of compliance, teamwork, and respect.

Natasha Rice, our General Manager, has been fundamental to Road Safe’s development. Starting in the office several years ago, Natasha has built a strong understanding of traffic management, compliance, and delivering professional services in a field of unknowns. Under her leadership, Road Safe has established robust processes and structures to ensure we continue to deliver our expertise throughout the region to the highest standard.
