Film Bay of Plenty and South Pacific Pictures have partnered up to deliver a one week internship. The program is designed to give participants a hands-on introduction to the screen industry. Over five days, interns will experience different areas of television production, from development, on-set through to post-production and publicity.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be 18 years or older at the time of the internship.

Open to people with an interest in a career in film, television, or screen production.

Prior industry experience is not required.

Must be a Bay of Plenty resident.

Practical Requirements:

Interns must be able to commit to the full week of the program.

Interns must arrange their own daily transport to and from the internship location.

A small subsidy towards accommodationwill be available.

Selection Criteria

A short statement (up to 300 words) explaining why you want to take part and what you hope to gain from the program.

Availability to attend the full program and willingness to take part in both observational and practical tasks.

Ability to work well with others, follow direction, and engage respectfully with industry professionals.

Clear expression of ideas and interest in creative problem-solving, demonstrated through your application or past experiences.
