Under the New Zealand Screen Production Rebate (NZSPR), eligible international productions can access a 20% cash rebate on Qualifying New Zealand Production Expenditure (QNZPE). Funding opportunities

As a regional film office, Film Bay of Plenty does not finance productions directly.

We work closely with relevant industry partners and the New Zealand Film Commission, who is the government body that administers screen incentives for local and international screen projects, to help facilitate connections that can lead to your production’s success.

Engaging with these entities could make all the difference and we encourage you to make enquiries into the various grants and support available.
